O.D. 7", Thread Type 6-1/4"-6Acme-2G, Bottom Sub for Perforating Guns
Material
Manufactured from top-grade alloy steel, the 7" Bottom Sub is specifically designed to withstanding the rigorous mechanical stresses that arise during the course of deep well perforation processes. The steel receives a higher-temperature treatment that enhances the hardness, strength, and corrosion-resistance of the metal substantially. This ensures that the bottom sub will be capable of withstanding the rigorous conditions of typical oil and gas well completions with the least effect on its operation and longevity.

Production Processes
The O.D. 7" Bottom Sub has numerous arduous manufacturing processes that include
1. Forging: Initially forged of good-quality alloy steel in order to build a dense, strength-rich foundation.
2. CNC Machining: The sub is CNC machined with the use of modern CNC technology to the dimension and specification exactly the same as the rest of the perforating parts.
3. Thread Cutting: The 6-1/4"-6Acme-2G threads are carefully cut with the aim of making smooth and leakage-tight connections. The threads are tested and found of the highest trade standards.
4. Heat Treatment: The metal receives a heat treatment that enhances the metal's mechanical strength and resists wear and fatigue.
5. Surface Treatment: The sub receives surface treatment after machining in an effort to minimize friction and enhance the sub's capacity to stand against corrosion within aggressive well environments.
Quality Test & Inspection
Every O.D. 7" Bottom Sub has gone through strict controls of quality
• Dimensional Inspection: The sub has the correct dimension of diameter and the correct length properly measured with a correct outline of the thread.
• Thread Inspection: The threads are carefully checked to guarantee they are defect-free and meet the industry’s strict standards for engagement and sealing.
• Pressure Testing: The sub is subjected to simulation of the higher-than-atmosphere pressures it experiences during the stresses of the perforating operation.
• Material Verification: The tensile strength, hardness, and fatigue strength of the steel alloy are subjected to testing in order to ascertain whether it meets the standards of the deep-well.
Key Features
• Premium Alloy Steel Design: Engineered to last against harsh high-pressure, corrosive environments and providing consistency in harsh wellbore environments.
• Precision Threads: The 6-1/4"-6Acme-2G threading guarantees tight and leakage-proof connections with other perforating tools
• Heat Treated for Strength Enhancement: The lower sub also receives a heat treatment that increases the strength and wear resistance of the sub.
• Customizable: The lower sub may be configured flexible with respect to the specific application of the perforating gun system.
Industry Applications
The O.D. 7" Bottom Sub is widely used in the oil and gas industry, specifically for well completion operations. Key applications include:
• Perforating Gun Systems: They are used in perforating assemblies to place controlled perforations within the casing of the well so that the flow of fluids in the wellbore becomes efficient.
• Hydraulic Fracturing: The lower sub in hydraulic fracturing ensures a firm interface among the perforators and the rest of the tools and apparatuses, providing a good stimulus of the borehole.
• High-Pressure and High-Temperature Conditions: The abusive standard of ultra-deep and deep-well perforating environments
Packaging and Storage
The O.D. 7" Bottom Sub is carefully packaged after passing all quality checks. It is typically wrapped in protective materials to prevent damage during transport. The sub should be stored in a dry, clean environment to avoid exposure to moisture, which could lead to corrosion. It’s also important to handle the sub with care to prevent damage to the threads, ensuring easy and secure installation.
Shipment
The O.D. 7" Bottom Sub shipping comes with a guarantee of a secure package and shipping with good carriers. The shipping comes with the offer of shipping tracing. We ship either domestically or internationally depending on the customer's area of domicile. The sub will be installation-ready the instant it arrives at the installation site.
