O.D. 2", Upper Thread Type 1-3/16-12STUB ACME-2G, Lower Thread Type 1-11/16-8 STUB ACME-2G, Top Subs for Perforating Guns
Material
Made of top-grade steel, the premium subs are specifically made with the rigorous requirements of downhole application in place. The material is specially selected based on superior strength, fatigue life, and resistance against corrosion and has the strength of withstanding the higher-temperature and higher-pressure environments typical of the drilling of the oil and gas formations. The alloy steel is subjected to cutting-edge processes of heat treatment with the intention of augmenting the strength and overall functioning of the steel in harsh environments.

Production Processes
1. Forging: The metal is forged into a shape that guarantees highest strength with minimal wastage of the material.
2. Machining: Precision CNC machining technology has been utilized in the manufacturing of the precise threading profiles that perfectly match the perforating gun system.
3. Heat Treatment: The subs also receive a specialized heat treatment that increases the subs' temperature and resistance against corrosion.
4. Thread Cutting and Final Finishing: The threads are properly cut such that tight and leakage-tight joints between the top and the lower halves of the perforating gun are established.
5. Final Inspection: The subs once complete are subjected to rigorous inspection in an attempt at adhering to rigorous standards of quality, such as dimension checks and pressure testing.
Quality Test & Inspection
The 2" Top Sub goes through rigorous testing to assure outstanding performance:
• Dimensional Testing: The actual measuring of the thickness of the threads and the dimension to enable a proper fitment.
• Pressure Testing: Each sub is subjected to high-pressure conditions to confirm its ability to withstand the intense pressures encountered in well environments.
• Material Integrity Tests: The tensile strength of the steel and the wear-resisting and harsh environment-resisting abilities of the steel are put to tests.
• Thread Inspection: Ensures the thread profiles do not contain any faults and provide a good fit between members.
Key Features
• Dual Thread Design: The top and the lower 1-3/16-12STUB ACME-2G and 1-11/16-8 STUB ACME-2G threads fit perfectly and will not wear with use.
• High-Strength Construction: Made of heat-treated steel that guarantees superior strength and operation at elevated temperature and pressure.
• Precise Machining: CNC machining ensures an impeccable fit of each part with no leakage during application.
• Corrosion and Fatigue Resistance: Engineered with a view of surviving the harsh environment of the drilling operation of the oil and gas industry.
• Versatile Use: Compatible use in multiple perforating gun systems with the added advantage of efficiency and safety.
Industry Applications
The O.D. 2" Top Sub is a critical component used in the oil and gas industry for well completion and hydraulic fracturing operations. It is specifically designed for:
• Perforating Gun Completions: Positioning assemblies of perforating guns in a firm and stable manner.
• Hydraulic Fracturing: Enhancing the stability of perforating gun assemblies throughout the processes of well stimulation.
• High-Pressure Well Operations: Thriving in the rugged environment of heavy usage of a well.
Packaging and Storage
The O.D. 2" Top Sub is correctly packed with protecting supplies in a manner that will not physically injure during shipping and receipt. The subs need to be correctly stored in a clean and airless environment free of any moisture and temperature extremes not to be contaminated and rust.
Shipment
The subs ship in durable and resistant-to-deforming package that won't be deformed during shipping. The customer will be sent a shipping update with real-time package track option once shipping has been done. The subs will be installation and use state within the perforating gun assemblies and will be minimal preparation required at the arrival site.
