Hot-Forged Automotive Hub Bearing Unit
Material
Our hot-forged automobile wheel hub bearing units use the highest-quality alloy steels such as chromium-molybdenum steel and carbon steel that we select based on strength and hardness and wear and corrosion resistance. The metals are specially selected with the intention of withstanding the harsh environment of automobile wheel hubs with constant temperatures, friction, and forces of loading within them. The units also receive an added boost of properties with the application of a heat treatment once they're forged to keep them durable enough during the life of the automobile.
Specifications
• Material: Chromium-molybdenum steel alloy, carbon steel
• Dimensions: Customized based on the automobile specification (typically 4" to 10" in diameter)
• Weight: Varies with application and mass of the vehicle (typically 1kg-10kg)
• Load Capacity: Strong carrying capacity with a combination of heavy and light usage
• Surface Finish: Smooth shot blasted and polished for resistance against corrosion
• Heat Treatment: Hardening and tempering and quenching processes
• Tolerance: Tightening the tolerances so that it fits perfectly within the hub assembly
• Certifications: ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
Production Processes
1. Hot Forging: The hot-forged process begins by heating high-quality steel to a specific temperature, followed by shaping under high pressure. This method strengthens the steel by refining its grain structure, improving its overall mechanical properties.
2. Heat Treatment: The forged bearing assemblies also undergo the processes of the heat treatment such as the processes of the quenching (rapidity cooled) and tempering (heated slowly) to acquire the required hardness and strength and also wear and fatigue resistance.
3. CNC Machining: The forged hub bearings are CNC machined with great precision to the specifications required so that they perfectly fit the automobile hub.
4. Surface Finishing: The pieces are shot blasted or polished in a manner that imparts wear-resistant and resistant-to-corrosion surface finish with a smooth and hard surface.
5. Assembly and Inspection: The seals, grease, and shields required in the assemblies of the required components are added and put through strict testing procedures in an effort to meet standards of performance.
Quality Test & Inspection
• Dimensional Accuracy: The unit undergoes rigorous dimensional testing in order to be within the required tolerances in a tight fit within the hub assembly.
• Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): Magnetic testing and ultrasound testing identify surface cracks and any interior faults that will affect the part operation.
• Fatigue Testing: The bearings' units undergo fatigue and fatigue testing to ensure that they will be able to tolerate repeated loading and heavy-stress environments.
• Hardness Testing: Hardness testing is done in order to be certain that the material has been properly treated with respect to strength and wear resistance.
• Rotational Testing: The rotation testing of the bearing assemblies ensures smooth operation and the best behavior of the lubricant.
Key Features
• Superior Strength and Strength Durability: Hot forged pieces possess superior strength and the strength to sustain the stresses of frequent use and harsh weathering.
• Precision Machining: CNC machining guarantees the fit and tight tolerance with a guarantee of correct fit and smooth operation of the automobile wheel hub.
• Corrosion Resistance: The surface treatment and the heat treatment processes help the unit of the hub bearing be highly resistant against corrosion and therefore maximize longevity and efficiency.
• Load-Bearing Capacity: Equipped with the heavy carrying capacity of the load, they sustain regular passenger automobiles and heavy commercial automobiles.
• Low Maintenance: The long life of the engine reduces maintenance and replacements and saves a lot of money throughout the life of the automobile.
Industry Applications
• Automotive: Widely used in the automobile industry of light vehicles, vans, SUVs, and commercial vehicles for smooth wheel rotation and loading transfer.
• Off-Road Vehicles: The ideal solution with the demand of rugged and strength at toughest environments.
• Heavy Equipment: Used in heavy and industrial machineries requiring heavy duty-bearing strength with the ability of heavy weights' endurance.
• Aftermarket Parts: Replace original existing automobile parts with existing proven and durable usage life with old models.
Packaging and Storage
After thorough testing, the individual hot-forged hub bearing unit is properly packed to avoid any damage during shipping. The unit will be normally packed in anti-corrosion film and put in protecting boxes. The package will be packed in a manner that will avoid any scratches and dents and keep the bearing unit in a brand-new state. The part should be placed in a dry and cold place during long-time storage to avoid rust and deterioration.
Shipment
We offer prompt and safe shipping facilities within the home country and abroad. The rotation center carrying units send with a combination of air and sea freight based on the urgency and distance of the target area. We track each of the shipments in order to get the goods promptly and securely to the customer. Our network of logistics ensures prompt service with the part’s integrity during the journey.
