Cold-forged or Cold-extruded End Tooth
Material
Our end teeth consist of stainless steel, carbon steel, or steel alloys of high-strength, chosen for its enhanced durability in resisting forces of impact and wear. The materials undergo cold-forced, cold-extruded processing, a process which fine tunes material structure for ultimate total strength and toughness. Types of stainless steel for environments which must provide excellent corrosion-resistance, in highly damp, highly corrosive environments, exist.

Production Processes
1. Cold Forging: This is a process of forming material under room temperature using press-stamping or pressing. The process makes steel stronger and more resistant, enhancing its mechanical properties.
2. Cold Extrusion: One of such forming process in which material is driven under a die for end forming of teeth, which gives constant size and homogeneous strength throughout part.
3. Precision Machining: The terminal tooth is machined following extrusion or forging for its precise size and for producing necessary wearing surfaces.
4. Surface Coating (Optional): For protective purposes of optional wear and corrosion, optional paints, powder coating, or optional electroplating may be applied depending on desired durability in extreme environmental exposures.
Quality Test and Inspection
Each end tooth is carefully examined for it to pass best-quality standards:
• Dimensional Accuracy: Each piece is measured exactly so it can exactly fit in along with machinery parts, reducing time lost in maintaining and maximizing operation efficiency.
• Material Testing: We have material composition testing for steel grade authentication, which enables us to place a correct alloy for a specific usage.
• Hardness Testing: Repeated hard testings are conducted in an attempt to make sure the part can resist large forces of impact without deformation or cracking.
• Impact & Fatigue Testing: The last teeth is inspected for determination of its resisting capability in case of cumulative stress and abrasion under actual operation.
• Surface Integrity Testing: Testing for absence of flaws such as cracks, and roughness which can lead to premature failure.

We recommend keeping the parts in a non-wet place in case of potential rusting or weakening, especially for those which come in contact with water.
